I am the judge this week for Steemit Photo Challenge - #59 - Happiness. What is expected.

Hello Everyone!

As you might already know, SteemitPhotoChallenge is one of the most popular photo contest on Steemit and it is at it's 59th installment now. First of all, let me just say how privileged I feel to be selected as a judge for this event. Thank you @jamtaylor!

Through this post, I wish to share with you, what my perspective of the new theme is.

What is Happiness to you?

When I selected the theme happiness, I was aware of how subjective and personal this theme could mean to each one of us. What is happiness? For some, it could be seeing their baby smile for the first time while it could be seeing a mouth watering dish for some other. The point here is, it's not what makes you happy(in this case, it isn't the photo of the smiling baby or the dish). What the photo should be of, is the happiness itself. Not the reason for it.

Let me show you a photo of a friend of mine that I took, which I think shows happiness:

You see the photo is not about what makes her happy. It's a photo of her happiness. Hope you get my point.
