THINGS THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY

There are days that you're free as a bird, roam around-- soar high-- but there are days that you can't go out.

Being in a country with the longest lockdown, you would find yourself getting used to it. You may also think that having a little amount of savings could "save" you but look at below photos. These are reminders that money isn't always useful specially when you are stuck.

We weren't able to move around to even find an ATM and withdraw money for our basic needs.

We are just super lucky that--- quoting my friend's message for me, "angels really do exist"

We are thankful because during these hard times that we are still both employed but are sick to go out and convert that virtual money to get food for our table, there are people who are finding ways to bring us what we need.

This post is a bit silly at the same time as I recall the times when I was so scared that we may not be able to use our money to buy vegetables as stores have already closed. It came to a point last year that I tried making BURONG MUSTASA, (fermented mustard leaves) which can last for a month-- as we didn't have a fridge during that time.

So keep scrolling and see the food that we had, and the meals that we cooked using whatever is available--- meals which I think you may find a bit weird, but these all have healthy magic.
