HOW THE ROCK'S SPEECH MOTIVATED ME

How the Rock's speech motivated me to write NOW

Hello guys, it's been a looong time since I wrote. Had a writer's block, lack of motivation or whatever we call it. The point is sometimes it happens and I'm happy I'm back.

So while I was binge watching youtube, searching for motivational speeches I came to one video where Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson gave the Laker players something to bring on to the next season and years.

One thing I was curious of is the name of his production :

7 BUCKS PRODUCTION

In one of his sharings, he said that in order for us to stay in the moment, we have to put our backs on the walls to not crack on pressure, whatever setbacks we have in the past this is our chance to prove ourselves & remind us of the that we are here at this present moment, focus on it and never F'up the oppurtuinity.

He named his production 7 BUCKS PRODUCTION because it reminded him that IT WAS THE ONLY money left in his pocket after a run at football. He said he went home, thought about hot to make money.

A young adult at that time, he had to provide for his wife and family. This situation motivated him to find his passion. It was acting. His career took off in the wrestling stage, then a movie, then business and it progressed from there on. He said that if we put our mind into something and focus on it, it is possible to achieve our goals.
