Narrative report- Kadaugan sa Mactan Cebu Philippines(Victory of Mactan) 500 year celebration

Hi steemians good day friends. How are you doing guyz I hope all is well despite the challenges we faced nowadays. Today I wanna share with you steemians about the event we did in our school premises.

Kadaugan sa Mactan Festival | Sugbo.ph - Cebu

The Philippine government's milestone celebration of the 500th anniversary reminds us the victory of Mactan headed by the Chieftain named Lapu-Lapu over the spanish expedition led by the Portoguese named Ferdinand Magellan. This battle waged by the native warriors signified as the first indigenous military action against the foreign usuper and one of the highlights to the manifold. The Quincentennial commomeration in the Philippines which observed in schools throughout the country.

We, the Fatima Elementary School plays a great role in valuing the heroic deeds of Lapu-Lapu towards us as Filipinos. The year 2021 became significant for it marked the 500th year anniversary for the victory, humanity and Christianity in the Archipelago. We wear color blue as a sign of victory.

Teacher's are rising the Philippine flag. April 27, 2021 exactly at 7:30 A.M Philippines time. We the teaching staff celebrated the 500th year Quincentennial commemoration in the Philippines with the theme: "VICTORY AND HUMANITY . The program started with a flag raising, singing of the national anthem and followed by a prayer.

Tha program was started by playing the official music video entitled: " BAGANI". After that I'm gi ving a short excerpt of Magellan's story by yours truly. And Quincentennial message by our very own Teacher-in -charge no other than Ms. MICHELE LABE. It was ended a great job for all of us. That's all for today everyone.
