I chose BiasNarrative as I have been extremely into politics for about the last 3 years. The thing I have noticed above anything, on both sides, but more recently the right, is a lack of care for legitimate logic. I use the term logic because supposedly, facts are no longer trusted by people.

There is an issue in the current world, and that issue involves tons of "studies" being done, that try to prove a point in a completely biased way.

A SCIENTIFIC study should have some key aspects to it. It should be:

It should be completely randomized
It should be double blind
It should contain placebos.

There are obviously a TON of other aspects to a scientific study that should be taken into account, but I think these are the three most important that are often over looked. There are also different studies that require different, "gold standards" when it comes to investigating an issue.

But for the most part, these illegitimate studies I feel have been thrown into the media by ignorant "journalists" that have no reason for posting it other than to further an opinion they agree with.

The people, the majority of the populace of America, just eat this up like it is candy. Studies that agree with are met with open arms, while studies that go against what they believe are scrutinized.

It is my opinion that ALL studies should be scrutinized. Nobody should accept something just because they believe it is true.

So, my name is a call to everybody, and a call to myself. To try to remember that you are affected by your own bias view of the world. Your own @BiasNarrative. And you need to work every day, to fight that natural want, to accept what you already believe, and throw out what is knew and true.

BiasedNarrative: An account that I usually use with @zappl for quick little thoughts throughout my day that I do not have the time to right about in length. This stop me from putting a bunch of short content all over my main account. It also frees any people who auto vote me from auto voting short content which they may not agree with.
