Last week we kicked off our Week 1 Parent Contest! We in the mama community believe in supporting one another as parents and being open and honest about what we go through. Talking through things can ease our minds and even bless someone in the process.

We had some really great entries come through and the moderators of our Discord group are still reading through all of the entries. It was really great having some dads join in to share the fears they face as fathers. Thank you to all that entered!!!

We are no longer accepting entries for Week 1, it is officially closed. Winners of Week 1 will be announced within the next two days! Stay tuned! 😃

The Parent Contest

This contest is open to all parents, both mothers and fathers! It will run for 3 weeks with there being a 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Winner each week!

Week 2:

Write a post about your greatest joy as a parent.

Last week we welcomed you to dig deep and speak openly about your thoughts on fear. This week we are wanting you to share the joy of parenting! What brings on this joy?

Rules:

1 . You must write about the said subject.
2 . Your post must be at least 100 words.
3 . Use @steemitmamas as your first tag.
4 . Post a link to your entry in the comments.
5 . You are welcome to post your entry in your native language however you must include an English translation as all of the judges are English natives!

The second week of this contest begins now and will end next Thursday on the 7th!
