RE: How the heck do i withdraw Steem Dollars? Can't find any relevant faq

in #steemithelp8 years ago (edited)

You sent it 6 days ago to your savings. Then it's in your savings.

Now, 6 days later, you want to take it out. So you can.

Click on the blue link "Balance: 49.250 SBD", it will add that amount for you in the text box below. Then just click submit, and now you have to wait 3 days before it gets out of savings. That's the 3 days you have to wait to get it out.

You seem to have a lot of votes on this post, yet... no one bothered to explain anything. I hope this helps. Peace.

that's because it's a relevant question that needs to be clarified, which you just failed to do. There's a thing called a "process" that takes place and needs to be explained, rather than posting something like "just click submit and now you have to wait 3 days before it gets out of savings" GETS OUT OF SAVINGS , it just GETS OUT MAGICALLY ! I wish you people would stop posting this useless info that I have to read through. It ends up taking me 3 days to find an answer this way.

I would guess i'm getting votes for pointing out the lack of signposting toward faq's for such newbie questions. Thanks for your help @krnel..I have done as you suggest before but somehow i managed to get the sum back into savings and not in my pocket!

So i have withdrawn my $49 sbd to uk blogger but cant see any option to move it to bittrex or a wallet.

I really appreciate your help @krnel but can you tell me which options i should choose from the dropdown menu under Steem Dollars? many thanks.

Transfer?

Find a tutorial that shows all/most of the images. I thought the one I linked to explains all the steps...

Got there at last..The thing that confused me was that when i hit the transfer dropdown it said something like 'transfer to another Steem account' which i didn't want to do. I didn't expect bittrex to work in that field but it did...Many thanks for your patience

wtf! followed the instructions and it appears i have transferred it to a blogger account bittrex on Steemit?

Dude... his tutorial even says not to use his account... obviously you use your own. Good luck. Maybe do more reading before doing it again in the future.

I thought 'to' bittrex meant it was going to my bittrex account on bittrex.com with accompanying memo to identify it..would love to know what i was supposed to put in the ' to' field.
