Remembering Boracay

For the recent issue, some establishments were closed down at Boracay ordered by our Philippine president and this made me choose to write about my thoughts for that paradise.

Boracay is an hour away from my hometown and this made me proud as this little paradise is being known worldwide since for already a long time.
Local and foreign tourists will always fill our port and I couldn't be any prouder that livelihood and tourism are boosting up for Region 6.

I went to Boracay last year with my family and as far as I remember, it will always be one of the best trips I had.
All beaches in the Philippines are amazingly beautiful but based on my standards and based on the beaches I have gone so far, Boracay is on my top list.

I so much love its powdery white sand, long stretch – yes I can always walk around its Station 1 to 4 areas, night life, good food, nice and warm accommodations, stunning sunset, and of course, the clear and blue sea!

It was so painful to witness the unnecessary scenes like garbage, unlimited moss and wastage mixing up with its clean water and pure sand. When we went there, I didn't took photos of the areas with black images aka wastes as I don't want to ruin Boracay's image to everyone. But when I came to think of it, when this was exposed, then there's the initiation of cleaning it up absolutely.

So I believe that it would be really better to have our own paradise have a rest first to restore its original beauty.

See you soon again, Boracay. I miss you! And hopefully when I go back, there'll be no more ruins for you but just nature's beauty.
