RE: Steemit Update [ May 2nd, 2022 ] : Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 1 - Week 2
Thanks for the update, @steemitblog. It's been a great week so far and I am glad that I have participated in some of the contests, the engagement challenge is a great one and I must say it's uniting Steemians.
In addition, I will urge the communities to employ the method of the order of submission of entries to maintain smooth checking, using the new function of the tag to get the proper order of entries.
Why do I say this? A lot of articles were not checked in some communities till now, these are articles made a few days ago, I have a personal experience with this, I submitted an article 6days ago with no proper assessment from the MOD/Admin till now, likewise, one of 3days ago. I understand that the workload is huge on most of the communities but it doesn't look well if some articles submitted a few hours ago are being reviewed while a user that has made his or hers many days ago is still not checked, in the same community.
There are many users in this shoe and I believe proper utilization of the tag and prompt communication between the leadership of a community would help to a great extent. It's understandable for some users while it frustrates some.
My humble request to the communities is to practice the order of submission such that some users won't feel neglected. Thank you.
You have written perfectly very well my friend, i can attest to what you just wrote here, a lot of steemians are fraustrated already because their article which is suppose to receive an upvote from the curator is not reviewed. I suggest all the communities should implore the pattern of the academy and then give grade after reviewing the article e.g 8/10 in that way i believe people will be voted for their hardwork. Its not easy to have finish some of the contest spending hours to kae research and then you write without any form of encouragement vote.
Not all communities can adopt the method of adding grades to entries, what matters most is the MODs/Admins of certain communities coming up with schemes to give priority to articles in order of submission as regards review. Thank you.
As has been mentioned many, many, many times - votes are not guaranteed.
And just checking your account @simonnwigwe....
You have delegated most of your SP to Steem Sri Lanka (odd as you not from Sri Lanka).
And with the SP you have left you are not even using all your votes each day to support other members of the community.
Thank you for the reply, am certain that votes are not guaranteed, i was only talking in respect of the articles that are left unreviewed by the various communities. And for my left SP i will make sure i utilize it to the fullest on daily basis to support my fellow steemians. Thank you once again.
Would you please look at my account too, it seems like you would love my activity and the posts I make. Just a little support from you or a little praise. I also try my best with power ups in order for you to notice me. Just a quick stop by would do no harm
Hello @steemcurator01, i mean no offence in the above comment, and if in any way i have said anything offensive, please pardon my ignorance. Thanks for your understanding.
This is absolutely true, I have personally experienced what you just said
Out of the 7 contest, I did 5 and not even one was visited .
It's so discouraging to continue, I must admit.
This user @msquaretk did a considerable number too and not even one was curated.
I highly support what @simmonwigwe suggested.
Many steemians are bitterly complaining in the WhatsApp group that none of their post are being curated.
Dear steemit team, I know the work load is much, providing the fact that you are supporting other communities, but from what other steemians are saying, it won't be long before they leave this wonderful platform.
Growth of steem economy is our goal, but most times it's frustrating when our efforts are not given recognition.
Thank you very much @steemitblog for this new contest and I believe that there will be some adjustments.
We love you !!!
First of all, upvotes are not guaranteed for all articles made in the contest, which you should take note of. This piece of comment is not advocating a lack of support, in fact, a lot of users have received upvotes from the steemcurator accounts. I guess the team would still reach out to deserving articles in the long run.
That said, I have dropped the comment to advise a few communities to improve on their method of checking and give priority to the order of submission while reviewing entries.
If you have other complaints aside from what is in the context of my comment, I guess you can present them independently and not hid them under one that has talked about another thing entirely. Thank you.

I am not making any complaint @fredquantum, you brought a suggestion that other communities should improve their methods of grading, which is fine.
I'm also bringing a suggestion that SC01 should probably consider some of us that made the whole seven post.
Please note that many are striving to join club75, but how can they without support?
The steemit team are trying their very best of which we highly appreciate, but a little adjustment won't be bad.
Remember the steem economy can only grow when we join forces together, and that is our goal.
I made this comment not to complain, but to plead that other minor users be considered too, that's all.
Thank you.
