During our growth and training many aspects intervene that make us better human beings and everything starts from when we are children, that is why school or primary education strengthened with home education are paramount in our lives, taking into account that what we learned in this time will be part of our pillars of life. Among these important aspects, the values that define us as people are specified.

The values can be detailed as the principles that guide the behavior and the attitude that is adopted in front of everything that surrounds us. With their correct learning and practice they complement a person, leading him to a successful social development. That is why the importance of teaching values to our children from an early age and of course giving example of it as parents and educators.

LEARNING AND PRACTICE OF VALUES

There are different ways to promote the education of values in our children and students, from this point of view I found it appropriate to present it in two sections which are:

1. LEARNING OF THE VALUES

In this section, to teach the values to our children it is convenient that both parents and teachers give a space of their time to explain aspects such as:

What are values? What are the values? How do we differentiate them?

A simple concept must be developed that is easily understood by the child, showing him that each value has its own name and meaning. For this they can rely on the use of:

The reading of stories and debate of its moral: At the moment many books-stories exist focused on leaving a message on the values; its composition is very didactic full of drawings alluding to the theme. In this case parents or teachers have the opportunity to choose the chord for their class or for reading at home.

Conceptual map, diagrams and drawings: They can be used on billboards, blackboards, walls of the classroom, among other spaces using them as an instrument to transmit knowledge to our children.

2. PRACTICE OF VALUES

Once our children know the meaning of values it is important that we translate it into practice, using tools or techniques in which our children are directly involved, associating the issue of values with everyday life. In this case we will present the following:

Games: at the age of our children one of the things they enjoy most are games, teachers to address the issue of values can propose many games including riddles, mimics and spelling words. The complexity of the game will depend on the child's age and cognitive abilities.

Videos: the little ones easily identify with what the images project, especially if they are animated or in the form of cartoons, they manage to intrude into the plot. In this way teachers can take advantage of this tool to educate them on the subject of values.
The educator should schedule and plan the activity of showing his group of classes videos previously selected, that attract the attention of the children and make sure that he leaves a specific message about the practice of values. To do this, it must rely on organizing an audiovisual room that is comfortable according to the ergonomics required by the children, with clear sound and clear images.

Dramatizations: The teacher must build scenes that exemplify the appreciation of respect, honesty, love of neighbor or other value that the educator believes necessary to strengthen in their class. Then you must explain the dynamics to the children and designate the roles to be customized. This activity will allow the child to live his own experience in the use of some value, it must be monitored at all times by his teacher. In the same way it allows to strengthen the relationships between classmates.

Make Drawings and expose them: in the primary stage the children have an inclination for drawing, painting, coloring, drawing lines, which always have a meaning for him. In this sense, it is advantageous to use this tool in classes and link it to the individual practice of values.
In this activity the educator must guide the child to make a drawing or painting where the only rule will reflect some value, the teacher can determine the value they should reflect in their drawing (Respect, love of their peers, companionship, honesty, understanding, tolerance, among others), then the teacher will propose to his students to explain what his drawing represents. With this activity the educator has the opportunity to listen to their students individually and perceive if the child has correctly understood the concept of value that he described.

To achieve the objectives, we must consider that all these activities that we put into practice must be adjusted to the age of the child.

Finally, the best teaching we can give our children about values is the example we give with our actions.
