Hi dears Steemians, my name is María Laura and for a few months i have been part of the Steemit community. I am a student of the 8th semester of Engineering. I like nature, music, literature, geography and I have a special interest for the psychology.

During these months, i have tried some labels and recently discovered Steemiteducation, i was struck by the variety of content and the really useful tips for the education of children.

I still do not have the privilege of being a mom but in my family i'm surrounded by children of all ages, from my little niece who has just been born, to teenagers who already feel adults.

My interest in psychology started in high school, to understand the human mind, emotions and different conditions of each person, it became my passion at that time, so combining this passion with my love for children, led me to Interest in special children. I have always found beautiful his sweetness, his innocence and his way of seeing the world, but what is even more fantastic are his abilities.

It is common to think that children suffering from some syndrome lack skills, however this is completely false and has been shown not only scientifically through neurological, motor and psychological studies but also by the same children who day after day demonstrate incredible skills such as super memory, advanced math skills, excellent artistic skills such as music, painting, poetry and more.

It is important to integrate children with special abilities and needs into our society, foster tolerance and acceptance in both children and adults, and create psycho-pedagogical projects that contribute to their education and support their skills.
