I like the part where you clean up your online presence. Students are brutal and they will look for anything to nail you (some employers too). Very useful article. I am not a teacher by trade, but I taught grade 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 classes last year. I found that being real with them also really helped. Like opening up to them about your hobbies etc. Good luck.
