RE: Neuroplasticity: Self-Directed Neuroplasticity Exercises

Very encouraging! We do not have to be victims of negative thoughts or messages, whether our own or ones imposed upon us, nor are we at the mercy of painful events from the past. Yes indeed we are resilient. There are many principles in the Bible that back this up---kind of like an early form of CBT --e.g, 2 Corinthians 10:5 mentions not allowing false/fear thoughts to run amuk and rule us but rather to 'take them captive' and to replace them with the knowledge of who God has made us to be and how much He loves and values us. I don't know what your beliefs are cabbagepatch, are so I hope you don't think I'm preaching or anything---I only mention this as it's an interesting parallel. Also because, for me, psychology in and of itself was not enough for what I was going through, but the Lord pulled me up and out.
Resteemed :)

Do not worry about what you write. I was brought up Christian and I feel what's important is the good intention. Appreciated your scripture and appreciate that you have a strong faith in God. I understand how faith and spirituality is what always help people during times of need. It is so important for people to believe and never give up. We both know what it is like to suffer deeply! Thank-you for always being so supportive to me. It is with a thankful heart that I am expressing my gratitude. Again, please take care. Hope you are doing well!!! :D
