Teaching Healthy Life in Children Early

CHILDREN is a gift and deposit of god that must be maintained and guided well. Emphasizing the character of the child should start from an early age so that later become a habit when growing up. One of the habits that should be taught to children is a healthy way to live.

Healthy lifestyle is one of the keys to maintain health and achieve a happier life. Maintaining health is easy to say but the awareness of doing it is still low. Therefore, so that our children grow into a healthy person needs to be taught health care habits early on.

The behavior of children in their daily life is a reflection of what their parents teach. If we begin to instill a healthy life then become a habit for children in adulthood. Therefore, I think teaching healthy life in children is one of education that must be done by every parent.

Then where do we begin to teach children how to live healthy. I think it can be started with the consumption of healthy foods so as to affect the health of the body. By getting used to provide healthy food in children from an early age it will become good habits that will be done by children in the future after growing up.

Next is to provide food supplies when entering school age. This method aims to prevent children from consuming unhealthy foods that come from street snacks like most of the happening in Indonesia. With so the intake of nutrition for children can also be more well controlled.

Another thing that needs to be taught to children is taught the habit of exercising from an early age. Give a good example so the child will imitate your exercise habits with you. Start with a morning run on a holiday.

Healthy living habits are not just food and exercise. Children need to be taught hand-washing habits in the right way early. We know that the hand is one part of the body that many interact so that there may be many bacteria and germs that stick.

Last of the most important is adequate rest. As a parent should avoid the habit of staying up late and teach children to sleep not too late. Parents should set an example so that children get enough rest time to maintain healthy body.

Conclusion

Parents are a good example for children to organize a better life. Especially teach the child about healthy living behaviors such as healthy food consumption, exercise, handwashing habits and adequate rest. Hopefully every parent is able to secure a healthy lifestyle to his child from an early age.
