Obedience and its importance in children
Obedience has always been the central point of educational work. The objective is to create awareness and maintain respect, promoting values and discipline that lead to success in personal development.
When we try to teach to obey, we find it difficult, since we find different personalities, but the key is in the limits.
In the school the teacher is in charge and the students must fulfill their will and obey. To execute the authority, it is necessary to know how to give orders, otherwise the expected results will not be obtained.
Explain: Why must one be obedient?
Because, obeying is part of learning, improves behavior allowing compliance with established rules. Obedience teaches us to understand others, to listen, to understand that the world in which we live is regulated by rules.

Being obedient is learned through education, and teaching its importance brings great benefits that will help along the way.
How do we achieve obedience in children?
When the child understands what it means to comply with the rules and abide by, they do not disobey because they know they will have a negative result, which translates into "punishment", and in this way their behavior is shaped.
Steps to follow:
- Letting them know from the beginning, the rules and the established limits.
- Patience on the part of the educator, is paramount to teach children to be obedient, since they are in a process of learning and perhaps they lack time to channel the message well.
- We must always be firm in the rules, we must not leave any overlooked, in this way the consequences of the behavior will be understood.
- The orders should not be repeated many times, this will make them take longer to obey.
Techniques to use for children to obey quickly.
Tell them the number from 1 to 3, it means that before he reaches 3, the child must have obeyed, otherwise he will be punished.
Place them at an facing the wall, unable to talk to peers.
Feel the child, turning his back to the blackboard so he does not intervene. That way he will realize that he acted badly.
Ignore the child, as much as possible, in this way the child will enter into reflective action, depending on their behavior.
Obedience not only implies, satisfying others but also forging maturity in the individual, building our character to transform us into better people. Allowing us to be educated, responsible and orderly.

Very nice ideas. I agree with the time out technique of having kids sit in a corner. I prefer peaceful ways of dealing this misbehaving kids.
Techniques are always good when they allow children to learn.
Children who are being difficult in the classroom can present one of the biggest challenges for teachers. I like the idea of offering 3 chances and I think "strategic" seating is very useful. I tend to keep an extra desk int he room that is still part of the class but very close to me. I will often have kids move to this spot and this becomes a deterrent for the behaviours. I don't tend to isolate the child in front of the class as this could lead to bigger issues and resentment.
It seems that, it is not really a punishment to me, but I prefer your way @broncofan99. As for my case who has a child living with autism, sometimes it is hard to control over her tantrums especially when she wants to obtain something. So when she starts showing her tantrum, I will remind her to speak politely because whining will never work on me. As a child, they applied the count of three, and it worked very well, I learned to behave. And good the estartegias or techniques that each one employs always must look for the benefit of the boy. There is a girl in my class, that the punishment chair has worked for her, she knows that when she does things wrong, she should go directly to her chair.
