DIY for kids - Let's make a simple road scene to fit the budget
You will need:
- Used matches or ice cream sticks
- Small cardboard boxes or something similar
- Matchbox cars
- Glue and a paintbrush
- Scissor
- Paint
- Circles out of cardboard (small)
- A big sheet of paper
- Sticky tack
Draw roads on a big sheet of paper. Traffic signs can be put along the road as follows:
Stick circles on to matchboxes. Use the sticky tack to make them stand up.
Use matchboxes to build a car and circles for wheels.
Use the small cardboard boxes (or boxes of similar shapes), stick them together with glue and use them as buildings next to the road.
You can add to the scene by putting up trees with sticks with leaves and by drawing and painting gardens.
Get your creativity flowing and create your very own road scene.
