History of farming – the beginning of agriculture

Like us, even early humans ate fruits and threw away the seeds. They soon noticed that these seeds grew into plants. This discovery encouraged them realised that planting was easier, if land was soft. Hence, they began to plant seeds on soft land. This planting of seeds made them food producers. They was the beginning of agriculture.

Initially, they used stone and wooden tools to plough the land but late they started using animals for ploughing the land. This was the beginning of agriculture

People first started farming around 12000 BC in West Asia, but by 8000 BC they were farming in many places

This discovery brought about many changes in the life of early humans
