A PONZI scheme is a fraudulent scheme where earlier investors are paid with the money taken from new investors, giving the impression that the scheme is a viable investment. Different Ponzi schemes have been in existence in the Nigeria for the past few years. Many people have been in one way or the other been swingle of their hard earn money. 1. The promoters vanish, taking all the remaining investment money.

2. The investors panic and take out their money leaving some to loose.

3. The investment slow down, the scheme collapses.

4. Sharp decline in the economy makes investors to withdraw part or all their investment.

What makes Ponzi scheme drive?
From history and the instincts in man, he has been in strong quest of getting more and more. Some of the reasons for Ponzi flourishing are as follows;

2. An insatiable appetite for more

3. The culture of risk taking

4. Unreasonable gullibility . Gullibility is the tendency to believe without reasonable evidence.

5. Unjustified trust.

Making money online is not a crime,in doing that we must enter the market with our thinking caps on. My advice is that we should do our research thoroughly before venturing into any online business. No Ponzi scheme would ever accept that the scheme is such. Ponzi has come to stay, we just have to open our eyes.
