Post To Review
Here follows the post for you to review:
Challenge #44 Post - "WIP-Almost done!!! Pointillism portrait", by @taifavre.
***@taifavre presents a pointillism portrait in this post with excellent realism. She says it is not quite ready yet and that it needs some final details to be complete. She was initially delayed because of a motorcycle accident. Luckily all ended well and with her fingers still in bandage she continued working on this piece. That makes it even more impressive!
As always, the idea is to write a comment that attracts the attention of the author. Your goal is to get the author to want to click your name and check out your blog.
Please feel free to drop a comment on @taifavre's post as well, but remember that a valid entry has to be submitted as a comment to this post.

Just give it a go. Start by not thinking about the challenge. :)
@taifavre First welcome to Steemit! You have made some amazing posts in just a few weeks. Your artwork is beautiful. I had never heard of pointillism, but that's the point of Steemit right, to find new things to love! I looked at the rest of your posts here and your Instagram page as well. Amazing! And one of your posts caught my eye - why DO the French only have 1 egg for breakfast? lol. I especially enjoyed seeing the pictures develop, it shows how much detail goes into creating one of them.

Confirmed!
Happy to see you back.
I had started my original comment, then left it before completion, but it posted. So I went back and edited it, and then this morning I see that the edit was not not posted. So I have edited it again, I hope it updates this time, because the first one was not complete.
WOW I'm so impressed by their work. I tried pointilism as an art student and did not have the patience or that kind of skill! And with injured hands! O.o That's dedication.
Confirmed!
Iโve never tried it but indeed it looks like it would require a lot of patience.
Looks like a naughty boy, hopefully his parents won't drag him to the orthodontist.
Excellent work, Michelangelo would be jealous. Get well soon for your fingers!
Confirmed!
Thank you for your comment. If Michelangelo is jealous I hope Michelangelo3 is impressed instead. ๐
Thank you @danielsaori for this great publication. Really @taifavre is a talented artist. I find the technique of pointillism very difficult especially in portraits; to have the ability and the art, as @taifavre demonstrates, of reproducing features and gestures so perfectly with pure dots is extraordinary. A very original and beautiful work. It impressed me! I told her in her post that it takes a lot of talent, patience, perseverance and persistence to complete a work like the one she wants to finish in spite of her accident, she is persistent! To want is definitely power and there will be no one to stop the talent that overflows in this good artist. Congratulations again @taifavre and thanks @danielsaori for sharing these quality publications.
Confirmed!
Apologies for the delay. Thank you for the great comment.
Hi @danielsaori, this was where i comment in the post. I hope able to have some engagements with her, in this way she would have more confidence with her art work and post more quality content.
Hi @taifavre, your Pointillism portrait was awesome. This was my second Pointillism art I saw in steemit. The first art I saw was a color pointillism art. And yours was a black and white. This really an incredible piece of art. You require a lot of patience and dedication. You must have the passions and love in art only able finished this portrait. This naughty fella looks real if you ask me. What a good job you did here.
Sorry about the accident, hope you recovered now. I understand how you felt because of the accident, it has slowed down the progress. But from your final masterpiece, it didn't affect it at all. I love it very much. You have express the naughtiness of the boy well through your art. Bravo to that.
Do you sketch the outline first before you applied it with pointillism technique or you just do it by referring to a photo. I cannot stop admiring your work until i have scroll to see it few times :P Please continue your passions toward art and continue share it in steemit.
Confirmed!
Thank you for your entry and I hope you manage to have some nice exchange with her.
Thank you @danielsaori, I still waiting, hope i manage to engage more with her..
We are a dot on the globe, that is a dot in the universe, as the stars are dots that to human view can represent any kind of figures. So isn't that strange as an art expression to use dots. Pointillism is a technique that has turned upsidedown the concept of painting, before the colors where mixed together on a palette to create chemically a new color, instead pointillism use dots of pure color, the blend is created by the viewerโs eye, we can see a more striking image thanks to our mind. The amazing skills and the art piece of @taifavre are a clear expression of creativity and rigor, refined technique combined with expressiveness. It is incredible how thousands of dark dots are entrapping the lights and shadows, giving life to the subject. There are no line to follow with the eyes and our mind interact actively to put together all the dots, searching in our memories, trying to recognize a figure we understand.
Thanks to the artist and to the curator, an enjoyable discovery
Confirmed!
We are all dots. haha :) Thank you again for a great comment
Please note.
I have run into some difficulties and will have to delay the winner announcement by 1 day.
