Kudos @danielsaori for always putting up opportunities like this , My entry goes thus:
Am so glad that finally someone is saying it the way it should be , nice one @theuxiety , sometimes i get so tired when i want to post and i will still have to open several application even though it is all about achieving just a single aim , do we really have to sweat to achieve all this even when we have @theuexiety who can help make things easy? NO ! NO! @ned this guy just spoke our mind indirectly , i wish to see changes or probably get him hired to do justice to everything as analysed by him in his post and i believe you will never regret you do so , long live @danielsaori , longlive steemit ....Thanks
Confirmed!
Happy to have you here Sola.
Thanks sir

great pick @danielsaori ! It's hard to believe @theuxyeti has only been on Steemit for about 3 months - he's got a ton of awesome posts. But now to my comment:
Although I don't know a ton about website design or how any of these apps function - I do know that Steemit needs an easier way to catalog posts and information. The Search tool kinda sucks.. I use it occasionally and have off and on success with it. If I want to learn how to create a GIF or a new banner for my page I search for it because you know someone has to have made a post on it but the results are hit or miss for me - I don't know why but it would be helpful to have a better way of locating topic posts - no matter how old they are.
Also, I think the look of the home page makes it more user friend and info accessible however it reminds me a bit of facebook.. which makes me nervous. I hope it doesn't encourage people to bring their poor facebook practices over here and start an even bigger flood of spammy posts.
Also, one question about the paradox between the anonymity and gamified set up of Steemit... adding all these favorites functions and featured users and all that - isn't this building up a more finely definied "social-data file" on each of us just like all the big players have where their algorithms start stream lining your content based on what it thinks you like - building up a online record of everything you like, comment on and search for - then turn around and sell your personal info and preferences to marketing companies so they "have a leg up" when marketing to you? Maybe this thing doesn't bother many people but it is one of the reasons I don't use other social media.. or google. It is also one of the sketchier downsides to the set up here on steemit. But I guess it's unavoidable to some degree. I'd just like to keep my degree as acute as possible.
Just a concern lol but overall the aesthetics of your design are very pleasing and I congratulate you on all your hard work on here!
Thank you Marie for your detailed analysis.
I agree that it is scary to think about the amount of data various companies collect about us online. But I have come to a point where I think it is almost unavoidable. Maybe, it was after I uploaded 40000 pictures to Google Photo that I realized there is no point to worry anymore... ;)
Regarding the contest. I'm sorry, but you were a bit late... I've changed the schedule and the contest ends Friday morning(6AM UTC). This way, I can keep releasing a new round every Sunday and present the winners before the new round starts. Felt that made much more sense.
New round just released so I hope to see you there. :)
ohh sorry I missed it! I'll check out the new round though! lol yeah it is pretty much unavoidable these days.. hopefully we don't adopt social crediting based off all this marketing data they've been collecting :-[ that will also be unavoidable unfortunately lol I'm sure I've been blacklisted as is already though! haha
My reply to today's comment challenge.
First of all, a big thank you to @danielsaori for this wonderful initiative and for bringing this amazing post to more exposure. I was thrilled by the mock ups!
An amazing work from @theuxyeti! I love virtually everything from the design. I love the simplicity and minimalistic approach of the designs. They're subtly more frenzy to the eyes. 😀
A wise man once said, great and actual solutions to every problems comes from visionaries. You are visionary dear @theuxyeti!
The ability to toggle and choose posts view between the grid or list style is cool. The stats feature plus live provision of vital information on the go is very useful too.
The interface clearly looks more personalised and contents can be organised in desired style by the user. The personal experience offered by @theuxyeti's designs should be taken into consideration by @steemit staff and @ned.
This is a great concept that'll greatly be appreciated by virtually every user. And most importantly, the FREEDOM the designs tried to offer is my best gift.
With love 💚, thank you @theuxyeti! You're great!

My reply to todays topic on their post -Ok so from the picture designs, you’ve integrated some of the core side UI’s of steemit, so on your version of the steemit homepage is basically my entire brave favorites bar. Simplifying steemits basic utilities to one clean and, i gotta say beautifully designed homepage. I would honestly love to be able to use a Ui for steemit like this on my Iphone, which is my only current access to the network. Much love, super beautiful. @ned hire this guy already. Fixed 20 problems at once— what @theuxyeti has done is simply awesome, I struggle sometimes keeping up with steemit because of the jumble of side sites i try to use to properly delegate my account. Its near impossible on my iphone honestly. But i love steem so i cant complain I just am stoked on this now honestly I cant wait for steem to start looking like that! Thanks for the share here today. So awesome.
thats a real life issue my friend. How many windows do i need open for a dashboard to maintain steemit and truly interact with it. I need a discord open, then steemit, then some metrrics here and there, how many tabs must i have open bc the articles dont save to a bucket, how do i find a user, etc... i get it. I am hoping that my Yeti UI 1.0 will course correct a lot of this stuff and allow us to get back on track to enjoying content and NOT process and logistics. Thanks for the comment. Id appreciate it if you added me to follow my series and continue to comment. thanks
I have definitely followed you! My wife is literally having a baby today. So i’m a bit tight schedule wise, but long term i will be following your progress closely! Dont you worry. @theuxyeti
you're ahead of me man... just about to propose lol... good luck today. dont name the kid after a yeti lol
Her name will be Darwynn Evergreen the post is up on my blog :) much love!
Congratulations man!
Enjoy the time and don't worry about all the sleepless nights... ;)
haha congratulations.
Her name will be Darwynn Evergreen
Im with you @dizzyjay! Steemit can be a jumbled mess! Ive gotten a little better after getting ginabot but truthfully Id much rather just go through Steemit for Steemit things, ya know! I dont even try to use it my phone but if I had everything I needed on the platform front and center I would be on Steemit on my phone which means Id be on it a lot more in general!
Confirmed!
Let's see if Ned hears your call. :) Would be great to have this on the official Steemit site.
Thanks @danielsaori for this opportunity. This is my entry ....
These are awesome improvements UX master!! these changes are long overdue and it takes a genius or something close to determine redesign solutions to the steemit interface in the way you have. I personally find it tiring having to log into different sites in order to do what i should have done, all at once. Great job!
I would love all that votes here to follow! So much more to come! Updates to this page, wallet, settings, content view, there’s about 20 more pages coming. Very grateful for the support @danielsaori

I am building this UI now! So if Steemit can’t do it I’ll have my ui available in 3 months
Hey sorry I’ve been a sick yeti with the flu but I’m here now! Very true. It’d be nice to have all the good links wrapped into one area easy to access! Great point!

Thanks @danielsaori for choosing me as one of the winner last steemitcommentchallenge, and now, I have this entry of mine which I already posted in @theuxyeti post. Thanks

Having a little bit knowledge in designing a web page makes me feel a lil bit of a headache Hahaha but still, what I get from your post and what's your intention is you want us, steem geeks to experience a clean and comfortable usable homepage.
What l like most from your design, is the section where you can adjust or control your voting power, the percentage of your bandwidth, and the time for the recharging of voting power.
I was once attached in designing homepage as per required by a computer class teacher using just a wordpad, save as html, then open in a browser. It was quite hard for me that then but that was a great experience though.
With your post, I hope I got the inspiration and enlightenment to indulge again in making such, in a new and complex way just like yours (I hope so).
All in all, such a great work @theuxyeti. Keep up the good work and I hope, everyone here in steemit, even just a bit, appreciate your efforts in making steemit a great experience to anyone.
Confirmed!
Thx Vontot for coming back and for another great comment.
It's a pleasure to be back here :)
agreed. it seems this is a desperate ask from users to have. So yes it will be added. :) thanks
My comment is as follows:
You made my day. this is such a unique, awesome idea to make steem better for user experience. Indeed, every system needs to be streamlined to give users that unique feel and easy accessibility to the most needed tools. Everybody wants to stand out from the crowd in addition to being able to achieve more with less. If they consider your proposal to give us a more personalized user experience on this platform, that would be another huge effort in the right direction. And if I am privileged to to try your definition of user experience, then i will endorse it!
Confirmed!
thanks for your response. you hit the nail on the head. streamlined, accessibility, personalized. :)
Forst of al, thanks @danielsaori, here's my entry
I really think your i deas will be some great additions to the steemit platform as it does kinda lack customization anf some things that'll make it easier for the user to use, clean and simple and where u can fully utilize the steemit platform, really nice ideas. I do hope it gets approved to make steemit much more easier to use!
Confirmed!
thank you, yes I am unsure if the UI was built intentionally bad or if they just lacked the foresight to see a great UI through. Either way Thank you for the comment and i appreicate your support. Definitely give a follow if you are interested in seeing future developments from this series.
Posted as is to theuxyeti...
Nice UI you have there. Most social media currently have that same structure template. It would be nice for Steemit to have it also.
One thing that I would like to have is my tags collection, all the tags from all the posts I've published. This would serve as a pseudo category as steemit doesn't have a category system. Perhaps put it on the left sidebar under the location when not logged in. That way, visitors to my blog could just browse my blog based on the correct tags.
For example, I posted things about forex and crypto. Although it's similar, people interested in crypto wouldn't really care about my forex posts, and vice versa. Having a tag cloud, could help my visitors to browse only the things that interest them quickly.
Confirmed!
Thanks Lib and great to have you here again!
It's always great to be here. stalking you with gina I always like your comment challenge. :D I can just give out my mind without having worry about words length such as those if I made a new post for entry. Except for that time I ranted out. lol.
im working on a mechanic that will do something similar but maybe not that granular, but you are right there needs to be a content sort for easy recall in a tag and thats the plan. thanks
Here my participation:
Your ideas are really amazing, just as you feel that the site lacks a little more information for us users and some tools that will give us a more comfortable stay, I support your proposal, I hope you are really taken into account for some reprogramming, luck.
