First love

I remember those days when i had just received Jesus as my personal Lord and savior. I would always feel like i wanted to always be in his presence,talk to him,be at church or in fellowship,read my bible always and i was not worried about anything because i knew he had all things in control. Whatever used to worry me never did anymore because i had come to a realization that i need not fear anymore because he is my father now and am his.

But there are these moments that come in life when you feel low,down in your spirit,empty,alone,far from God,you feel like his presence is not that tangible like how it used to be, like things are becoming hard. Sometimes you may even ask yourself whether you're not doing certain things right, the devil can also take this advantage to confuse you and speak contrary to God's word. You may end up at a point of thinking maybe God no longer cares about you.
He does all the time ,he never changes, he is the same yesterday,today and forever. Sometimes he lets certain things happen to us because he wants us to grow and become spiritually mature. As we grow spiritually we encounter different trials,persecutions and tribulations but we ought to endure to the very end because even Jesus was persecuted and even his disciples so if we trust the same God and preach the same Gospel we will also be treated like them at some point. Am persuaded that Jesus is always with us through it all, the sadness and happiness the pain the downs and the ups he is still there and He remains Lord no matter what we go through or what happens.
This is the freedom that he granted to me when i accepted him, that he can at anytime access him and also come boldly to the throne of grace that i may obtain mercy in times of need and with the holy spirit as my helper am always helped to answer those inner most questions that spring up about my faith and any situations. John 14:26 calls him the comforter meaning he is there always to conform me when i need him. Ephesians 1:13 also says that in whom ye also trusted after that ye heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that ye believed ye were sealed with that holy spirit of promise which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of his glory. Meaning i was sealed with the holy spirit when i confessed Christ as my lord and savior and stipulates that i carry all the gifts
and power of the holy spirit.

So i say i am free..his dying on the cross made me free till now..and he is my only hope,the hope of my salvation,i will look to him till he comes again to judge this world.
