DAILY CELESTIAL CHALLENGE THURSDAY-FORCE OF NATURE

Hello, this is a wonderful celestial challenge initiated by @sirknight on force of nature. To day I will be talking on water ( flood) as a force of nature. Flooding is seen as the process where by water overflow into a dry land and submerge area. Flooding does not only happen when rivers overflow their banks, but it could be caused by heavy down fall of rain. Flooding is a natural disasters because most a times it caused by nature. Flooding has destroyed properties worth millions. Flooding as a force of nature could also be initiated by through human activities such reclamation of coastal flood plain for socioeconomic activities.

Flooded areas are very harmful to human health because the water may have carried debris from the sewage system which are toxic to human health. Flooding is also associated with high level of food shortage because some of the farm lands have been submerged by water and the agricultural products will go bad
