RE: What are YOU Grateful for TODAY? - #GratitudeTrain No. 33
Great idea @jaynie ...... I bet if you did a #complaining tag most people would get to 100 in a week ... sad reflection of our inner thought processes.
Not bragging but I do not need to do thi as I made a very concious decision about 5 years ago to be happy, grateful and accepting of what life has dished me. Every single day I am grateful for my most precious commodity .... my health. Walking the dog in cold miserable weather I just smile and think to myself..."I could be in a wheelchair...or ill in hospital. Be grateful that you can be here, and enjoy the wild birds, the beautiful sunrises and of course your 'unconditional loving' dog Bozo who gets you out here to appreciate what you have" ....
Works for me, my food tastes better... the music sounds better and interactions with my loved ones are far better and meaningful !!
Keep up the good work and I am very glad for you that things are working out and your brave step has allowed you to move into positive territory. Then again, your hard work and committment is what makes it work....{thinks to self} 'aishhh, seems a bit boastful....should I click 'submit'?
@themagus, there is nothing boastful about what you have written. Attitude is a conscious choice and 5 years ago you made the choice to be happy. Good for you! and now you can reflect on how it has changed everything in your life. Life is all about choices and we get to decide how we want to live our lives! Glad you shared this everyone to read!
well said @claudiaz!!!
Happiness comes from gratefulness!!
yes it does indeed, but this too is a choice you make!
So True!! You've got a new follower!
hahahaha @themagus that is so bloody true!!!! People are such gluttons for negativity! I would go as far as to say they are addicted to it!
As for your brag session (just kidding lol) That is the ONLY way to be!!! It shifts absolutely EVERYTHING in your life and I learnt that the long way around... which is possibly why I feel so strongly about it and try to "share" that mindset a little with others if I can.
...and I am very glad you DID hit that publish button ;)
