RE: Share your #TrackoftheDay and WIN 2SBI (If I like yours most...)

I love this performance by Hidemi Suzuki with his Andrea Amati (1570) from the suite for cello n5 by J. S. Bach (1685 - 1750). This piece was written between 1717 and 1723 while Bach lived in the town of Cöthen during the period which worked for Prince Leopold's. It is the only suite for cello that Bach wrote a version for another instrument, the Lute, dedicated to a mysterious "Monsieur Schouster." All of Bach says this is the darkest suite of all the six. For me the most mysterious. A chained giant trying to adjust your strength to the limits of your medium of expression.
