SteemitArtChallenge Entry - Diptych

Hi everyone,

I'm an Cologne (Germany) based artist and this is my first post ;)

I did a Diptych, Oil on Canvas. Both paintings are 200 x 120cm ( 78 x 47" ). In have to say sorry for the bad pictures, toke them with an old phone and I didn't aspect to post them here for the challenge. But anyway, I hope you guys can understand what I did and how and you can see something of the process.. and I hope you enjoy it!

First I've builded the Canvas by myself.

Then i startet with some thin lines that unfortunally you can't see at the pictures. But believe me, they are there ;) After this i startet with the darker colors. I always directly paint wet-on-wet so I can do fast smooth color gradients.

As you can see here at the second one I did all the dark outlines first and filled them up with the metal-like Trompe-l'œil.

And finally here they are :)

P.S.: Sorry for my bad English. Always had an C at the english class at school but I try my best.. ;P
