Last February 23rd, our church, which is the Grace Life Community held an event hosted by our Young People or named as T. A. G, The Ambassadors of God all about love. Love Talks.

In this generation, love is just an ordinary element set by every youth. They can just take it elsewhere, in a sense that little by little it will become just a normal feeling to show.

How do you define love, anyway? In this context, during the event, love defines abundantly. Love defines God, for God is love. Love is what God did on the cross. Love is what God did on the cross just to freed us from the chains of sin. He saved us from slavery. He saved us because He loved us. His love is beyond our intelligence, beyond our ability to love. His love endures forever.

Plenty of youths were there. Naturally, it has become a mainstream among youths. You know, love, getting partners and romances and everything that involves about love, surely youths will love to listen to it.

But this is not just a common event that you will get from a normal event about love seminars, it's aligning to the pattern of the Lord, it's following to His standards, it's conforming to what God wants us His children to do when we're in a relationship or still single or waiting--it's a matter to commit. Commitment.

Our pastor once said, "When you find a partner, make sure that you will set him/her as your lifetime partner, your husband or wife, because in all honesty, getting into dating is getting into marriage. That is actually the goal. The essence of having a boyfriend or a girlfriend, is the essence of leveling up into husband and wife. And yet not all youths can see that way, it seems to be so normal to them."

That is why when you find a partner, you have to assess yourself if you are already ready to commit, because love is all about commitment. If you are not ready to commit to your partner yet, then stop it. Stop searching for love. Wait, until God gives you the right one at the right time.

Now if you ask, "What should I do aside from waiting?" Of course, who would love to wait for so long, right without doing something lively? Oh well, get yourself attached to God. Know Him more. Seek Him more. Seek Him first in everything you do and you shall prosper in your life. He will not only give you the one, He will provide you even more. "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added into you." Matthew 6:33

Do not rush, though, there s always a time for yourself to enjoy and commit to God first before anything else.

However, it will be up to you. But I assure you, a person that God gave will always be so perfect and the best. So, will you choose the best, too? Then trust God in everything you do.
