Steemit is a great platform that has not only afforded users the opportunity to make money blogging about any subject of interest but also has helped users to learn a lot of things by reading articles posted on the platform.

I was just thinking about this platform and some of the things I have learnt blogging on it and that propelled me to write this article. Steemit is not only for making money but a place to learn some life-changing investment ideas. There are exchange of ideas here that can make a greater impact in your life more than the money you make from it.

@yourhelper is a project designed to assist minnows grow and advance in the rank of steemit. Now I am taking it further by changing the definition of who is a minnow. The minnow should not only be seen as people with small reputation or low steem power. Let us view minnows generally as a group of people who are striving for economic emancipation.

If you take into consideration this broader perspective to minnowhood, then you will know that majority of people in steemit are minnows. We are all looking for better economy, improved livelihood and general economic freedom.

Steemit does not only afford you the opportunity to earn some money, it affords you the opportunity to interact with great minds, many of whom have gotten some level of financial freedom. There is nothing like learning from a people than learning from a book. People hardly read books these days anyways.

Let us join hands to promote this platform for other reasons beyond making money for posting articles.
