YouGov

YouGov is an international Internet-based market research company founded in the United Kingdom in May 2000 by Stephan Shakespeare (currently Managing Director) and Nadhim Zahawi, former Managing Director. YouGov's former chief executive officer, Nadhim Zahawi, resigned from the board of directors to run in the 2010 general election and is now MP for Stratford-on-Avon on behalf of the Conservative Party. Current CEO Stephan Shakespeare was a Conservative candidate for Colchester in the 1997 general election. Since April 2007 YouGov is headed by Roger Parry, replacing political commentator Peter Kellner who now serves as president of the company [1].
