Do not use poloniex right now accounts not liquid the past 3 days!
Poloniex Steem and Steem Dollar funds do not appear to be withdrawing or depositing for the past 3 days!
Do not use poloniex for Steem until they have cleared up the issues
My deposits and withdraws have not been working so I not only submitted a support ticket but also did some investigating.
My ticket almost 24 hours ago has had not a peep from poloniex.
The last money sent out from @poloniex was 3 days ago.
Also several users have had trouble as well an gone as far as too send and some times resent memo messages to poloniex pleading for assistance. This comes at a time when Steem Dollars have pumped up to all time highs on several exchanges. @kid4life @modemser @tayyabhussain @soosoo
So I put forth the question.... Perhaps the Steem community can reach out to help poloniex to get their Steem system working better somehow? Or perhaps we need to adapt Steem to support atomic on chain and atomic off chain swaps (i.e. lighting network.) I am not sure if its just bad business practices or incompetence or something shady or issues with the Steem code. It definitely as a scam smell to it if you are going to be silent about the issue this long.

This is very bad. I don't get why they do not answer at least to tell us that they are taking care of this issue.
Yes it is just good business to be open and upfront about issues. You also need to keep customers informed. Maybe we can work to make Steem more tasty of atomic DEX's (decentralized exchanges.)

No, and I do not see any transfers out from poloniex on a block explorer either just lots of stuff in and never out. I have gotten funds out before. And they have funds in the account still. I have also had frozen wallet issues with hitbtc. This is just not enough exchanges for us. We need to find better crypto solutions to fix these weaker edges.

This is the biggest scam of 2017 with Steemit! It makes the @bellyrub scandal look very tiny.
Poloniex has currently stolen nearly 40 Million Dollars worth of Steem & SBD in the last few weeks.
What is sad is that Steemit refuses still to issue a warning that sending funds to their account is likely a scam! Steemit should makes this right as they partnered with the exchange that has stolen millions from their social media network!
