Yes. You can earn money from Steemmonsters.
The first, and most common way is through trading Steem Monster Cards. This could prove very lucrative, especially if you find some rare and in demand cards. These are usually the Gold Foils, which have been sold for $USD3.00 for Common Gold Foils up to a record $USD1200.00 to $USD1900.00 for Legendary Gold Foils. Regular Legendary Cards, on the other hand, are also selling for a few bucks, between $USD6 to $USD12.
Of course, despite these lucrative numbers, keep in mind that you might have to open several booster packs to get the Gold Foils. And considering that a booster pack with 5 cards costs $2.00 each, you will need to invest money, before you start making some if you're coming in purely for the trade.
Another way to earn is by joining and winning the official tournaments. These haven't started yet, but word is there are big prizes at stake for participants. You will have to build a good team and learn how to play, though.

Seems like everyone is either trying to sell higher on there cards and earn money back probably to purchase more. How much did you spend total and the cards that you got are you able to sell them and get your money back on what you paid for them.
I know they are making tournaments so you can actually use the cards that you paid for. Give us your full experience.
I think the pack cost about 5$ and not even 1 SBD worth. I look forward to using the cards in tournaments, that sounds cool.

Aww sorry to hear that. Hopefully your cards go up in value. Yea does seem pretty cool but would be nice to be able to earn steem easily tho through steem monsters.

Lol yea i heard others were gonna start making there version of steem monsters. Could be valuable for all games if you invest. Its eventuallly gonna be pricey in the long run to afford to play all theses like steem monsters coming out.
