A Local International Terrorism We Deal With DAILY!

I consider myself a very nice and docile person but there's only so much sh*t I can put up with on a daily basis. We all get those calls trying to sell us something.. This is not the (major) problem I am addressing. My favorite cartoon of all time is "I have a gun to sell you during your knife fight! (that is from a famous cartoon).

It's those damn robocallers. Are you serious? Does anybody buy anything from a computer phone call. I don't get it - how can anybody even consider this type of marketing. Now I will give them the 'hit the hot button' type marketing as long as they drive people to a website (never a phone number - that went out in the 90's).

Here's my rub of the night; I got a call that caught me just in the right 'position' in my Friday night trance that left me vulnerable as I go through my motions. I answer my cell phone (I'm a businessman so I have office calls go to cell) .

I am very polite with my name and 'how can I help you'. Sht get's real now - this guy sounded like he was from the other side of "THE OTHER SIDE" of the world....TWICE*.... It was weak reception.

Let me give you a time line: 8:32PM EST. We will reflect that it's Friday night, I have been working all week (I travel a lot) and got home at a decent hour.

This guy was special. He had no idea who he was calling at what time he was calling - someone that was 'the assh**le of the night. Really? 8:30pm? GFYS - I have no idea what he was trying to sell or promote - he is one maggut above the robo dialer.

I challenge all businesses to 'record' and list the companies that use 'ROBODIALERS' and foreign phone calls that come after our 'business hours' . This crap has to stop. I am one short of making this my mission in life and will hunt them all down.

Let me tell you a caveat that you might enjoy. My wife is the CEO of our company (gotta love minority owners in the USA) - so somehow she is registered with a 'mispronunciation' of her name but all calls come to me (You get it!) So it is easy to weed out the calls that we (as a company) might want to take and the others that 'not a chance in hell'.

CHALLENGE: Can anybody find the 'guy' who called and wasted my time and temperament (as you can tell) so we can hunt down these morons that waste our valuable time. The number is 201-002-0100

Let's work together to close down 'robodialers' and morons from the dark world who sell nothing of value as we see but might prey on the elderly and not so informative as us drive by internet marketers.
