How you heard about Steemit?
Personally, I have been dabbling in some amateur trading on a few exchanges. Bittrex, BTC-e.com, and Yobit. I know they are not the most glamorous exchanges but they get the job done. Once I noticed the sudden increase in price for Steem, I decided to do some research.
And it seems this platform has taken off like gangbusters which I'm positive has it's devs and investors doing their happy dance!
Just really interested in knowing how a lot of you got here! So please share your story!
I was researching how to use bittrex.com, sorted by the column for growth and saw steem at 120% at the top of the list, and thought "what is that?" I then went straight to their website and started reading about it. It seems like a very smart approach. I am one of those people that saw Bitcoin at $0.005/coin and myself and another friend thought it was cool but thought it was likely the government would shut it down. We are kicking ourselves. Steemit seems to have a ton of potential too, as does Ethereum. Now I am here and perhaps this can eventually replace my usage of reddit.
Look into NXT and waves. They are at really low prices right now.

I found out by watching coinmarketcap.com everyday and I join on July 4th when the price was only .30 Cents per Steem. I decided to start mining coins by blogging, writing and posting.
From .30 to 1.20. What a time!
