I think the biggest problem is the way Steemit is set up - that whales have so much more power than minnows - really it should be possible to get a lot of traction on posts even if only minnows vote on you - it shouldn't have to be the rich and powerful who have the power.
I think each vote on steemit should be worth more irrespective of SteemPower and then a bit extra based on SteemPower - if you get what I am saying!

yes, i have seen post, with 61 upvotes and it made 0,6$ pretty sad
