If Everyone Eats Their Own Stake...
I am a huge supporter of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS). This post may come across as snarky, but it is meant to be food for thought and maybe discussion.
If it is ALL about stake, maybe development should just change the code to give everyone back their share of the stake with each reward pool?
That could also be an interesting experiment. It might be harder to find investors though..

I thought the original idea about financial incentives for content was to have great content upvoted until the platforms draws in the best content available on the internet, censor-ship free and forever in the blockchain, to move towards a sharing and caring community with meaningful relations.
I liked that idea.
I have multiple steaks in STEEM and STEEMit.
I have delegated the majority of STEEM I own into @jerrybanfield's @Budgets initiative.
I have also put up actual server equipment into the blockchain with the deployment of a witness server, a seed server in my website hosting companies hosting facility @ http://www.Tulix.com in Atlanta Georgia. After this weekend my witness backup server will also be online.
That is a total of three hi-end servers I will have deployed in support of the STEEM blockchain. I am Steaked!
SO I like my steak medium rare. I think I have a medium steak in STEEM and the fact I am financially vested as well as one with equipment and vast amounts of time invested makes it a rare steak.
Yes I am Medium Rare.
Now when I grow up I want to be a Prime Rib, but at that point, Just Rare!
That would surely eliminate most of the junk posts on Steemit.

I did a basic calculation and found this is very much equal to investment! So, if someone wish to take his STAKE I don't think it's a bad idea at all!
