This article having only 3 votes after three quarters of an hour perfectly explains what's wrong with Steemit. Good Quality content is ignored while anything that someone with a rep of 65+ posts is rewarded with 10s of dollars. Being a cute girl also helps. Although I am happy for people earning good money, it will end in disaster when Steemit grows.

Peer review of content would be an idea. Thrash and reposts be gone. And perhaps a limit on vote revenue per article.
