This Is How The Government Try to SAVE YOUR LIVES

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Did you know that at least 20 typhoons visit the Philippines each year? Not to mention the 23 active volcanoes in our country and many more natural and man-made disasters we have faced through our lifetime, how safe do you think you are?

Preparedness.

"There's no harm in hoping for the best as long as you're prepared for the worst"
-Stephen King

I work in a National Government Agency that provides assistance in capability building and information dissemination to raise the awareness of communities about Disaster Preparedness. Part of our job is to make people more disaster resilient, well-informed and well-trained.

Examples? Sure I could give you some.

Nice post @wayetyet.
Very informative. I hope our kabayans will take time to read this because we will never know what our mother nature will do in the next coming years.
@originalworks

Thanks @patricjames! Let's share this info.

This is great. I have resteemed this post as I think that it is of very high importance. What you do is very helpful to the common citizen. Even I don't really know how to act and what to do in case of a natural or man-made disaster.

Anyway great job @wayetyet! :D

Wow! Thank you @juv79505. I will try to post more IECs in the future. Thanks also for resteeming!

You're welcome @wayetyet! :)
