It would be interesting to get some sort of explanation from the developers as to how the reputation system really works. Like you I am in 6 and judging by the amounts of users you describe, that means we're in the top 10%, so that's good.

I'd like to try and get higher, but knowing how it works would be a great help. Probably like you posted, having high earning posts is a point, but I can assume that getting flagged would count against you, and perhaps the average quality of your upvotes might count as well,...
