Decisions. Please help!

I don't have an answer to this question, so would love to hear your opinion on this topic...

After few years of work and planning, we developed platform that can be used by farmers. Business model is developed, and everything is set up for the launch. Anyway, my team and I are considering creating an ICO and kickstart the idea. Or we should go to conventional VCs and raise money for equity in the company. The second option is more familiar to us, from the law side. We don't want to mess with the law in every country since we don't know the regulations that are related to ICOs, and don't have time to research it further, so an advice would mean a lot. So the question will be:
VCs or ICOs?
