@alifabeta - Well, it is a matter of choice if a girl does want to raise kids and not work but it should not be forced upon the girl by circumstances or the society. She should have freedom of choice. She would certainly better off with education with whatever choices she makes
but don't forget what education takes time and in some countries woman older than 20 is a real old to get married.
Would this woman be happy after this?
It's not just cons and pros for education, the major problem how education would imply on her further life - if her society would accept her if she broke traditions? Could she get married after getting a high education? where are only few men could marry on a smarter woman...
The answer is not too obvious. and honestly speaking, it's always parents choice but not a girl's choice in Asia and Africa countries.
