You know, there's one positive in all of this. In the last few days I've seen a big increase in people speaking out against all the nonsense and circlejerk on this get-rich-quick website.
That's exactly what we need. More rallying.
YES! Thank you, I was looking for that term. It feels like I'm on a get-rich-quick scheme right now. And that doesn't make me want to invite other people to share the experience with. I'm honestly afraid they'll think less of me (I'm adding it to the post).
Interesting for anyone who read Lean Startup. In the earlier development stages of IMVU, testers precisely told the developers that they didn't want to recommend the app because they felt their friends would think less of them.
Hopefully Steemit can learn from their user experience like IMVU did.
