Yes you are right. Thanks for commenting. I wrote it down as I said to make a clear statement but indeed some photos can definitely say more than a bunch of words.
But what does happen a lot though is very simple posts with only a photo. I think photos should at least be accompanied with a reason of why the author decided to share it. Not only by the title.
Everybody is different. I am visual - some pictures are awesome, and give your brain a rest just looking. I appreciate your post and didn't mean to criticise, just to provoke discussion and place a different point of view. Thank you for your post, and your reply. It is a great forum and a privilege to be able to interact with people from all over the world.
