RE: My Attempt To Reach @surpassinggoogle - (I want to help your mission)
I'm glad we connected as well :) It would be awesome to see how Steemit can help in your goal to help more people.
It's a term for chronically ill people (most commonly those that can't be seen such as fibromyalgia, lupus, myasthenia gravis, etc). It's derived from The Spoon Theory written by Christine Miserandino.
I didn't know, my comment now seems insensitive. I obviously didn't mean to do that. I never have hear that term before, but I'm glad you brought it to my attention my ex-wife has fibromyalgia.
And yes I think it is possible because of the way in which it engages people. If you think about how they designed the rules, the benefits accrue by being nice and helping others. Now there are certainly a few extremely talented people, the masses still need to feel welcome. I like how people are encouraged no matter who they are by how the rewards are divvied up... Let stay in touch and if you have any ideas of how we can work together, let me know... I'm a listener!
No worries. It's not a common term anyway. And I suppose it doesn't sound serious to those unfamiliar. Yet you asked after it. So it didn't come off as insensitive to me. I'm sorry about your ex-wife though. I hope she's managing somehow. It sucks to be chronically ill.
Yeah, this platform has a lot of potential to change the world for the better. Once the kinks are seen to (including the learning curve), it's bound to go mainstream. I'm not a think tank sort so I'm not sure I can give good ideas. However, I am interested in yours. Good luck with this and more power to you. Thank you!
lol... I'm not a think tank type either... And of course you can give me ideas, if you see something that you think is cool or new or fun... just let me know... I like your thought process so I would of course be interested in something you think.
I look forward to continuing to communicate with you @unspeakableme and I too wish you the best :)
