The Beginner's Guide to STEEMIT #1

I've been on Steemit for 3 weeks now and though I have not been very active on this new platform, yet I was able to have 100+ Followers and the number is going up steadily.

Steemit has a great potential for someone who wants to make some good money on part time basis. I won't suggest you to do it on full time basis at this stage because I myself am learning the ins and out of it. However, I want to share with you what I have learned and is working for me. You may follow these simple steps to make the most out of your steeming.

HOW TO SIGN UP AT STEEMIT?

Anyone who wants to use steemit should visit this link: www.steemit.com for sign up. Once you click on this link, you will see this page:

The next step is to click on the signup button I have circled in red.

Once you click that signup button, you will see this page:

As you can see, this is asking for your account name.

I've encircled this space in red and just entered the dummy name there. You can enter there any name of your choice that no one else is using in steemit. This step will take just couple of seconds and once you have entered your account name, click on Continue.

Once you do that, you will a page that asks for your email.

Enter your email there so that steemit could send you emails there.

Once you enter the email, click on continue button.

The next page will ask for your country code and phone number.

Enter the mobile phone number so that you could get sms in case your lose need to recover your account.

Once you click on continue button, you will receive a code via sms.

Also, you will see this page asking for that code.

Enter that code in here and click continue.

Once you click the continue button, you will see this page.

Meanwhile, in your email, you will receive this email.

Click on the link and it will take you to this page:

Now you have to wait for the last email where they will provide you the password. You will get this email in couple of days (within 5 days).

Since steemit.com is a blockchain website, so you can't afford losing your password. If you do, you lose your account regardless how much money you have in your wallet. So, save you password on several places in your computer/laptop to avoid this hassle.
