Troubleshooting Motherboard Damage from Symptoms

On this occasion i will give something!
Plug in the power adapter and try running the laptop.
Nothing happens.
The "ON" light is on, the fan spins, but nothing is on the screen (black) and you can not hear HD work after 10-15 seconds.
The "ON" light is on, the fan spins, but after a few seconds the light goes out.
After pressing the "ON" button, the screen stays black and you can hear a quiet high pitched sound from the laptop.
Troubleshooting Troubleshooting Motherboard Damage:
Look for "close-screen" switch cover (if any) and try thrust a few times. Usually a small switch near the hinges is pressed when the cover (screen) is closed. Sometimes this switch is stuck in the "closed" position resulting in a black screen (no backlight) or laptop does not start. Also some laptops have magnetic switch (newer Dell and Apple), so it will not jam.
Continue Troubleshooting Motherboard Damage with Test of other power adapter. Although not common, the adapter can fail and does not supply the required voltage even if it has a "green on" green light that lights up when you plug it in. Even if you measure the output voltage and it does not matter, the adapter may have failed. And it will not supply voltage under load (usually 3.5A to 6A). You can use the universal adapter or go to an independent workshop and ask them to check it (some stores will try to charge you to "estimate" to do so, so ask beforehand).
Reset RAM. Remove the hard drive and CD / DVD if it is easy to remove. Finally try to start the laptop again with only the power adapter installed and with the RAM reset and all the removable components and batteries out.
In the above points have not met the problem, then you must proceed by checking and measuring the voltage at certain points of the motherboard.
