Is Steemit/DTube the New Google/YouTube?
Given that YouTube is the go to point for most creators for videos on social platform. Facebook being the go to point for social following and Instagram being the photogenic platform nowadays. The key point about all the platforms now is how well they will monetize their content. For years YouTube has been a great platform for monetization and still is, users of YouTube have to have an open mind about utilizing all the platforms to stay secure in their passive income. Facebook although they have ads, the money doesn't really go to the creators of the content, ads run by Facebook only brings in revenue for personal businesses, although its not the same thing. Facebook owning instagram has been the biggest asset and now it proves it with the new service IGTV added, giving users the ability to monetize their content. Steemit is going to be the ideal location for a lot people in its early stages there will be a lot of money to be made and the quality will be easy to get around in the initial early days, purely based on how it operates as a whole. To put it in simple words Steemit is a gold mine, like YouTube was in its early years (opinions may differ). Having said all of that, the steemit network in it self is not as straight forward as just signing up, there is a steep learning curve about cryptocurrency and this new social media structure is quite complex. In comparison steemit is like having a google account which gives you options, like google ads to monetize your DTube videos.
So far, Steemit, DTube and to mention busy.org have a very good community of people. Communicating and working together as a whole. DTube has a very similar layout like YouTube, so YouTube content creators should feel right at home.
