I managed to get it working after a lot of hassle, using 3 different guides on this site, and then just experimenting, as some of the instructions are inaccurate or missing. However it stopped working for some reason, but I couldn't be bothered to waste any more time on it as I had already setup it up on Ubuntu. So I'd say your best off setting up a virtual machine on Ubuntu/Linux.
