WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON RE-POSTING?
I would like to bring some of my old posts back to be viewed again, what do you all think about someone doing this? It seems to me that some posts get buried in the feed, and I feel like I put a bit of work into them so why not bring them up again. I don't really know the etiquette surrounding this practice, and do not want to be annoying. Does this make sense to do? I would like a little feedback about this one!
You are not alone. There is so much good content that doesn't get its due simply because it's too old to make money. Until Steemit gets better at search, organizing, and archiving, I say: why not? To me, etiquette is about creating and respecting boundaries, i.e. not spamming people or doing something to harm the platform and community. In my opinion, if you've got quality content, why not bring it around again? Perhaps label it as a "repost" or "from the archive" so your followers are made aware that they may have seen it already (respecting their time). If a reader thinks a repost is or isn't worthy of upvoting, then that's their choice to click or not to click.
OK yep that make sense as well, I like it. Just respect peoples time and don't just spam everything you post. I figure I could do it two ways, now, I could just title re-post, or make a new post and link to my old work. I love the kind and wonderful people here, very very helpful. Good question, and I think that brings up another thing on the wish list: There should be very clear guidelines to these questions in an easy-to find place!

I'm not sure if there are policies around this. But I feel the same way, some content i've put hours into was probably only viewed by 10 people, and half of them were probably just looking to make money by commenting and barely read my post.
If they allow it the problem might become that people just continue to repost the same stuff over and over, I think there should be a limit on it to avoid spam
Ya that make complete sense, we don't need this place becoming spam city! I will prob hold off until I see what more people think of this. I do not want to a person that spams my content at all! Thank you for your reply on this!
Why not add on to them in some way in a new post and reference the link?

I've often thought about this also. I feel as long as your not reposting the same thing too often it shouldn't be a problem as a beginner. A more established poster might not be able to get away with reposts without considerate changes.
Ya that is what I was thinking as well, as a beginner I would like to do something to bring my work forward just in case new followers don't want to go digging around in my blog. Thank you for responding!
