A start up making it's first step into crypto currencies

Greetings from Germany everybody!

Today I talked to my boss and we discussed a way to make a first step into the "crypto thing".
I told him about steemit and it quickly ended up in a discussion about how we could provide interesting content for the community of steemit.com as a company.
Read further to get some information about who we are, what we do and what our "plan" is.

So who are we?

We're a small start up based in Limburg, Germany. We're developing an process management software for middle sized companies. The company started as a web and advertising agency about 10 years ago and is still the best in it's business in and arround Limburg.

We're arround 15 young people, one crazier than the other. Everybody is talented in his really own way as my friend and colleague @sidibeat who first told me about steemit.com. Make sure to checkout this rasta mans mad music skills!!
As my company is really "one of a kind" and it's basically a big circle of friends and cool people, I wasn't surprised that my boss didn't say anything but "Do it" after my first 2 sentences about planning to get our company on steemit.com

About 2 years ago, there were some crazy guys having a simple idea: Providing a simple, easy to use interface to delegate tasks and orders to employees. And by simple they meant simple for the end user. Not for the administrator (well, we cover that, too ;))
So short said: they ended up facing a large scale app with it's challenges. Never was anything done or planned in that scale by anybody in the company.

They just did it. No one had any idea of what would follow.
As our crazy colleague Jacob joined, it all got running. This guy came in to the company, sat there for about half of a year and presented a whole new, refactored application written on a robust framework to his bosses as a "christmas present". I got told that there were even some tears in the bosses eyes. They will never admit that.

And here we are now: With two full time developers aiming to stabilize and improve the system and building a robust laravel app, our customer base is growing and we're building a brand new company head quarter in Limburg. All of that while still providing awesome designed custom websites for our marketing customers, of course.

I quit my job at a top 5 agency from Germany and joined the company about 2 months ago after knowing two of these crazy guys from my studies on Online Media at the "DHBW Baden Württemberg". It's just a really unique working place. But you will see this in the upcoming #introduceyourself post. The only word I find is crazy and I quickly felt and learned that "reputation" and money is not worth anything if you lose the passion for your job. I got it back, so here a little thank you goes by, guys <3

Why steemit.com?

In our team there are some guys that are really into that "crypto thing". We're allways interested in new technology and opportunities to generate a new value for our customers, our company and other people.
In a plattform like steemit we see a lot of potential. We got a really interested, educated, open minded bunch of people here. And we love that.
We made some plans what types of content we want to bring to the community. As we will tell the whole story on our introduction when it's ready I'll just sum up some of our aims and goals:

• Tell the story of a start up taking place at the german digitalisation market
• Engaging with the community. Telling stories with our projects and use the potential of an interested community to improve our work.
• Tell our thoughts and ideas/concepts from the team to find ways to use blockchain technology in a useful and profitable way
• Show how a team full of talented, beer loving, funny people does his work
• Make our first steps into the crypto universe
• Provide inspiration for young developers / designers
• Improve our application through the power of community. We will try to involve you in our thoughts about using blockchain technology in our business application.

Of course there is a lot more we think about. Really, we can't wait to get started. We're really excited and two of us are allready making plans for the #introduceyourself post and some categories we will cover.

Ein Start Up macht seine ersten Schritte richtung Krypto-Währung

Hallo alle zusammen!
Heute habe ich mich mit meinem Chef unterhalten und wir haben Wege diskutiert in "dieses Krypto Ding" einzusteigen.

Ich erzählte ihm von Steemit und erklärte ganz grob das Prinzip. Es endete ziemlich schnell in einer interessanten Diskussion, wie wir als Unternehmen interessanten und wertbringenden Content für die steemit.com Community erstellen könnten.

Lest weiter für ein paar Informationen über uns, was wir tun und was der "Plan" ist.

Also wer sind wir nun?

Wir sind ein kleines Start Up aus Limburg. Wir entwickeln eine Prozess Management Software für mittelständische Unternehmen.
Unser Unternehmen hat vor ca. 10 Jahren als Web- und Werbeagentur angefangen und ist bis heute in und um Limburg der erste Ansprechpartner in diesem Geschäft.

Wir sind um die 15 Leute, einer kaputter als der andere. Jeder ist auf seine eigene Weise talentiert, wie zum Beispiel mein Kumpel und Kollege @sidibeat, der mir als erstes von steemit.com erzählt hat. Zieht euch jeden Fall die Musik von diesem Rastamann rein!

Da meine Firma eine von diesen "einzigartigen" Firmen ist und im Grunde ein großer Freundeskreis aus coolen Leuten, war ich nicht überrascht, dass mein Chef nach nur zwei Sätzen über meine Pläne "Tu es" sagte und die Sache beschlossen war.

Vor ungefähr zwei Jahren saßen hier ein paar kranke Jungs mit einer simplen Idee:
Eine simple, einfach zu nutzende Oberfläche zum Delegieren von Aufgaben und Anweisungen an Angestellte. Und mit einfach meinten wir einfach für den End-Nutzer, nicht für den Administrator (wobei wir auch das hinkriegen ;)).

Um's kurz zu sagen: Sie standen plötzlich vor einer large scale app mit ihren Herausforderungen. Noch nie hatte jemand in der Firma etwas von einer solchen Größe geplant oder umgesetzt.

Sie taten es einfach. Keiner hatte eine Idee davon, was folgen sollte.
Als unser verrückter Kollege Jakob dazukam, nahm alles seinen Lauf. Dieser Typ kam in die Firma, saß hier für ca. ein halbes Jahr und präsentierte plötzlich eine komplett neu entworfene und geschriebene Software mit robustem Framework als "Weihnachtsgeschenk" für seine Chefs. Mir wurde erzählt, dass sogar Tränen in den Augen der Chefs zu sehen waren. Das geben die niemals zu.

Und so stehen wir nun hier: Mit zwei Vollzeit-Entwicklern die das System stabilisieren und ausbauen, wächst unsere Kundenbasis und wir bauen ein neues Hauptquartier für unsere Firma in Limburg.
All das natürlich während wir weiterhin super geile custom Websites für unsere Werbe-Kunden bauen, versteht sich.

Ich habe meinen Job bei einer Top 5 Agentur in Deutschland aufgegeben und bin vor ungefähr 2 Monaten bei dieser Firma gelandet, nachdem ich vor einigen Jahren zwei der Jungs im Studium "Online Medien" an der DHBW Baden Württemberg kennengelernt habe.
Es ist einfach ein ziemlich einzigartiger Arbeitsplatz. Aber das könnt ihr bald in dem kommenden #introduceyourself post selbst sehen. Das einzige Wort was ich finden kann ist "verrückt" und ich merkte schnell, dass "Ansehen" und Geld nichts wert sind wenn du die Leidenschaft für deinen Job verlierst. Die habe ich wieder, hier also ein kleines Dankeschön Jungs <3

Warum steemit.com?

In unserem Team sitzen natürlich ein paar Jungs die voll auf dieses "Krypto Ding" abfahren.
Wir sind immer interessiert in neue Technologie und Möglichkeiten um neue Werte für unsere Kunden, unsere Firma und andere Menschen zu schaffen.
In einer Plattform wie Steemit sehen wir eine Menge Potential. Steemit ist ein Haufen von interessierten, gebildeten Menschen mit einem offenen Geist. Und wir lieben das.

Wir haben ein paar Pläne geschmiedet was für Contenttypen wir in die Community tragen möchten. Da ihr die gesamte Story bald in unserem Introduction-Post lesen könnt, möchte ich hier nur kurz zusammenfassen was unsere Ziele sind:

• Die Story eines Start Ups erzählen was sich auf dem deutschen Digitalisierungsmarkt positioniert
• Mit der Community in Kontakt treten. Geschichten mit unseren Projekten erzählen und das Potential einer interessierten Community nutzen um unsere Arbeit zu verbessern
• Unsere Gedanken, Ideen und Konzepte aus dem Team teilen um Wege zu finden Blockchain-Technologie in einem nützlichen und profitablen Weg zu nutzen
• Zeigen wie ein Team aus talentierten, bier liebenden, lustigen Leuten seine Arbeit macht
• Unsere ersten Schritte in das Krypto-Universum wagen
• Inspiration für junge Entwickler / Designer schaffen
• Unsere Applikation durch die Kraft einer Community verbessern. Wir werden versuchen euch in unsere Gedanken einzubinden, Blockchain-Technologie in unserer Applikation zu nutzen.

Natürlich sind da noch viel mehr Dinge über die wir nachdenken. Wirklich, wir können kaum warten zu starten. Wir sind wirklich gespannt und zwei von uns schmieden bereits Pläne für den #introduceyourselfPost
und einigen Kategorien die wir abdecken möchten.
