STEEM IS NOW $4 USD - A good time to be on Steemit!
I just checked my Coin tracker this morning and I saw that Steem is now trading at over 4 USD on exchanges!
When I joined Steemit it was around 1 USD and now it's already 4x that amount, meaning we're all earning 400% more!
We've seen it change a lot in the past few weeks and hopefully that's a good indicator for what's to come next year. I'm glad I've been powering up and have a lot of Steem kept away for the future, since it will likely grow a lot more before the end of 2018.
Besides that, SBD is also now up to over 14 USD!
The payouts for creators are nuts right now and so glad that I found this platform to share my content.
Thank you to every one for helping this to be a great place for content creators and Merry Christmas to all of you. Let's hope this growth continues into 2018 - it's an exciting year ahead!

Glad to also be part of the "When I joined Steemit it was around 1 USD" club. Already doubled down at $2 to ensure a free bet, now I won't be selling any until it's stable over $100.
The powering down 3-month process will ensure it's success...
I agree that the 3 month power down time is so important. If a whale wants to cash out, only 1/13th of their share will be sold each week, and won't affect the price as much as if they had sold all of their tokens at once.
I wanted to buy more steem power but now it is a bit too expensive so I just have to write better posts. Hopefully I can grow my portfolio.
You will be able to grow, just keep putting content out daily and you'll get the long term rewards.

I bet that in a few years, you will remember back to this time thinking that you should have bought more at $4 ;)
We are always in a dilemma about possibility of grown and what happens if it drops. Just like recently I sold half of my reddcoin and suddenly it shot up like nobody business. Holding or selling is not an easy task to our human greed. :)
Yeah, that's true. It's very easy to look back at event and think that you should have bought more or hold the tokens, but the fact is that no one know what the price will be in the future. However, I think Steem will go a lot higher, but that is of course only my own opinion.

I'm very certain that Steem will go a lot higher in 2018, but I don't know about SBD. It might keep rising, or it might even fall back to $1.
