Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India.According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2013 annual report, 24,923 rape cases were reported across India in 2012. Out of these, 24,470 were committed by someone known to the victim (98% of the cases).
India has been characterised as one of the "countries with the highest per capita rates of rape".A large number of rapes go unreported in various countries including India. In India, consensual sex given on the false promise of marriage constitutes rape.The willingness to report the rape has increased in recent years, after several incidents of rape received widespread media attention and triggered public protest. This led the Government of India to reform its penal code for crimes of rape and sexual assault.

So let me ask you as well as myself that what are we doing to stop it. Oh! I will tell you 'NOTHING'.
What we ever do is create a little mob and protest for a day or two and forget everything. This is what we are best at.
My urge to write down this blog is to remind you and me that it is our feminine who are being raped or say harrasened not only in india but all over the world.
So here is what i think. To protest for a rape victim is going to change nothing for her. she is not going to become a virgin again, whatsoever we do even if we hang the rapist publically
Instead what i think our motive should be preventing any curse in future.
For which my suggestion is hijab. It is only a suggestion i am not forcing to wear it. To some people hijab is a kind of limitation. Yes it a limitation for rapist to commit crime like rape.
Why i am telling about hijab is that because it is been cencused that 80 percent of rapes took place because they wear short dresses which a rapist finds sexy and attractive and empowers him to commit rape because the piece of flesh which is revealed by a women make his animal instincts grow alive.
So now if a women is in hijab atleast 80% is been prevented
Like i said earlier it is just a suggestion if someone suggestes some thing else please let me know.
